  17. Make ready 1 tbsp corn flour dissolved in 1/4 cup cold water

  19. Prepare 200 gms spaghetti
  20. Prepare For mint concoction water
  21. Prepare 1/4 cup mint leaves (phudina)
  22. Prepare 2 green chillies
  23. Prepare to taste Salt

  26. Get 2 small potato thin crisp fries
  27. Prepare 1 cup spicy banana chips
  28. Get 1/4 cup roasted peanuts(de skin)
  29. Take to taste Chilli sauce

A squeeze of lemon also adds tanginess to khow suey. Khow Suey is a Burmese (from Burma) noodle dish My mom always used spaghetti instead of traditional egg noodles and it worked so well, I've just always stuck with it.   3. After 5 mins add chopped tomatoes, green chillies ginger paste and garlic coarse paste. Mix and cook till done.
  4. As veggies being cook, prepare coconut milk…add coconut pieces in mixer jar,grind it. Add water and grind again to smooth paste. Strain this coconut mixture through muslin cloth..to get coconut milk. Keep aside.
  5. On other gas, keep water filled vessel for boiling. Chopped spaghetti into small pieces. Put in boiling water,add salt and 1 tbsp oil. Boil for 10-12 minutes (till cooked). Strain and keep aside.
  6. As veggies being cook add coconut milk,boil and add corn flour water. Stir till curry turns thick. Remove from flame.
  7. For mint concoction…grind mint leaves, chopped green chillies,salt in blender to smooth paste. Add water to make liquid consistency.
  8. To assemble/ serve..in a plate place boiled little hot spaghetti.
  9. On it pour curry.
  10. Sprinkle potato fries,banana chips (crushed),and roasted peanuts.
  11. On it sprinkle chilli sauce,soya sauce and mint concoction.
  12. Serve/ Relish Delicious Spaghetti Khowsuey.

Break the dried spaghetti into small pieces and fry in the oil till they are crisp and brown. For a spicier version, pour some chilli oil over the Khow Suey.
